The main aim of the university is to impart with students the art of Sanskrit. Prof. A P Sachidanand (I/C) is the present Vice Chancellor. Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthana Delhi offers various graduate and post graduate courses in Prak Shastri, Shastri, Shiksha Shastri, Acharya, Shiksha Acharya and Vidya Varidhi. These courses are also offered in a Distance Education Mode. They also offers Sanskrit courses at a School level. Experienced faculty members gives enriching experiences. Expansive library and research department act as a guiding source to its students. Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthana conducts many exams on a regular and part time basis for their UG/PG courses like M.A, B.A, M.Phil and Ph.D. degree every semester or at the end of the academic year.
