K. Sreedharan is the current Vice Chancellor of GAU. Initially it was split into 4 campuses and has 6 colleges to its affiliation working towards a mutual vision and mission. SDAU offers graduate and post graduate courses in Agriculture, Veterinary Science, Dairy Science, Agricultural Engineering, Horticulture and Forestry, Home Science and Fisheries.
