The Sikkim State Police Department has announced 572 positions for GD Constable, Constable Driver, Constable (Technical) and Follower posts. 1) GD constable - 450 vacancies
2) Contable driver - 85 vacancies
3) Contable(tech) - 30 vacancies
4) Follower - 7 vacancies

No.of vacancies - 572 posts

Academic Qualifications -
1) For open candidates: Must be class 10 and class 8 passed from any recognized board.
2) For HG candidates: Must be class 8 passed from recognized board who enrolled before 4-9-2012 and class 10 who enrolled after 4-9-2012 for GD constable.

Age Group -
1) GD constable & constable - 18 to 22 years.
2) Constable driver - 20 to 25 years as on 01-03-2018.
3) Relaxation applicable for SC/ST/BL/OBC/HG candidates.

Process of Selection - Shortlisted candidates will be selected by:
1) Physical measurement
2) Efficiency/endurance test
3) Written test
4) viva voice & skill test
