1978 witnessed the establishment of Anna University of Technology, Chennai formerly known as Perarignar Anna University of Technology (PAUT). The motto of the university is “Progress Through Knowledge” Dr. M. Rajaram is the present Vice Chancellor.

Anna University, Chennai offers various graduate and post graduate courses in Technology, Information and Communication Engineering, Civil Engineering, Management Sciences, Mechanical Engineering, Science and Humanities, Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Architecture and Planning. These courses are also imparted through Distance Education Mode. Research facility, library and well experienced faculty all contribute majorly in the progress of the students.

The students can either download their time table directly from the official links as given below or they can log on to www.annauniv.edu, the official website.

The following includes the various steps involved while downloading the Anna University Date Sheet 2018:   
1. The exam takers need to log onto the official website which is - www.annauniv.edu
2. Once they do so, go to the Exam Date Sheet under ‘Examination’ or go to the News and Events section on the Home Page
3. Open the Exam Time Table page from the link mentioned and search for the time table of the course examination that you are interested to take
4. Once located, the student is expected to download, save and print the exam schedule for the relevant course.
